INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Individual counseling is a process where you work with us one-on-one with a trained therapist to explore various personal challenges, emotional difficulties, or mental health concerns. We provide a compassionate and confidential space for you to discuss you thoughts, feelings, and experiences and whatever else may bring you into the counseling process. We can help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and experience personal growth during your therapy.
During individual counseling sessions, we utilizes various therapeutic modalities that are tailored to the your specific needs. As therapists, we may employ cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye-movement desensitization therapy (EMDR) , narrative family therapy, or solution-focused brief therapy or other evidence-based modalities that can help you understand and manage you emotions, change negative thought patterns, and develop healthier behaviors. We work closely with each client to ensure that they get the best care and direction in the counseling process.
We help people just like you with a wide range of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, marriage issues, grief and loss, trauma, self-esteem, faith crisis/expansion, and personal development.
Our offices are open and modern; we work with you to ensure you have a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can openly discuss your concerns, explore your goals, and work towards the answers you sought in coming to therapy.
Individual therapy can feel intimidating and a little bit daunting if you haven't done it before. We work hard to ensure that you feel welcome and really heard during the intake process at your first session. Once your therapist has a good understanding of what you need, they can develop a treatment plan and be able to guide and lead you in counseling sessions on a path that fulfills the needs that brought you to therapy.

How often to come to individual counseling sessions vary depending on the your needs and goals. Some individuals may only require a few sessions to address a specific issue, while others may engage in longer-term therapy for ongoing support when/if they are dealing with more complicated relationships or trauma.
It's important to note that individual counseling is a collaborative process between the you and the therapist you work with. It does require you to be pretty engaged in the process, along with the therapist, to bring about meaningful and lasting results.
